The FBI’s recent FLASH alert exposed #Funnull as the backbone of a global cryptocurrency #fraud operation active since at least 2023. While 176K+ root domains were initially flagged, WhoisXML API uncovered an additional 101K+ connected domains. This brought the total to 277K domains for further investigation, including 82K+ with detected malicious intent at registration point.
Spanning 45 countries and 192 ISPs, #DNS traffic confirms much of the infrastructure is still active today.
This isn’t just fraud – it’s persistent, evasive infrastructure.
