Finite State has expanded its executive team with the appointments of Tim Quock as chief operating officer and Beth Linker as chief product officer. The additions come as the company accelerates its global efforts to secure connected systems across critical infrastructure.
Quock has a background in guiding security companies through key growth stages, with experience supporting solutions used by Fortune 1000 organizations.
Prior to joining Finite State, Quock served as VP Finance at Horizon3.ai, a leader in autonomous security, where he scaled the business through rapid expansion and led multiple financing rounds. Before that, Quock served as VP Finance at Mattermost, a secure messaging platform, supporting their expansion into US Federal and Enterprise cloud adoption. Earlier in his career, he played a key role at Fastly building the financial and operational foundation ahead of their IPO.
At Finite State, Quock will lead operations, finance, and people, establishing the scalable teams and functions we need as we expand globally and support increasingly complex customer and regulatory requirements.
Linker is a veteran cybersecurity product leader with a focus on enterprise security software. Most recently, Beth led SAST and AI product strategy at Black Duck (formerly Synopsys Software Integrity Group). They have also held senior product roles at Dell, SecureWorks, and Acquia, with experience in managed security services, email security, and compliance-focused cloud hosting.
At Finite State, Linker will oversee product strategy across the platform, with a focus on enhancing visibility, security, and compliance for connected devices.
“Regulation has turned software transparency from ‘nice-to-have’ into a board-level mandate,” said Matt Wyckhouse, CEO of Finite State. “Beth and Tim give us the perfect one-two punch: Tim has repeatedly scaled companies through hyper-growth, and Beth has shipped category-defining software security and AI products at global scale. Their expertise lets Finite State meet the accelerating demand for secure, compliant connected device security and compliance solutions—and helps our customers build resilient products that can stand up to the new wave of regulations.”
