BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – St. Joes Hospital is still dealing with a cyber security issue.
A spokesperson with Covenant Health, the company that owns the hospital, said they are working to restore full access to their systems.
“Recovery efforts are underway as we continue our investigation into the scope of the cybersecurity incident and work to restore full access to our systems. We have engaged best-in-class outside parties to assist us in determining the details of what happened and to restore full system access as soon as possible.”
Last week, the hospital was experiencing an IT outage that may affect phones and internet access.
They said there is no timeline on when restoration efforts will be complete.
They are asking patients to keep all of their appointments at this time.
