(TNS) — Radford City Public Schools on Tuesday disclosed a “cybersecurity incident” affecting portions of the division’s computer network.

Superintendent Adam Joyce sent an update to families of students via email.

“As soon as we became aware of the situation, we immediately activated our security protocols, enlisted the support of top cybersecurity experts, and began working closely with state and federal law enforcement to investigate the source and scope of the issue,” Joyce wrote in the notification.
