

SEATTLE – Alaska Airlines, which owns Hawaiian Airlines, announced they are dealing with a cyber security event that could impact some operating systems.
The airline assured travelers that they have taken steps to secure their operations. “We have taken steps to safeguard our operation and our flights are operating safely,” they stated in a social media post. They also emphasized their commitment to safety, adding, “Upon learning of this incident we engaged the appropriate authorities to assist in our investigation and we will continue operations moving forward.”
The company is actively working to resolve the issue affecting their systems and promised to provide updates as they become available. Despite the cyber security event, flights appear to be running as scheduled. Operations from airports in Missoula, Bozeman, Spokane, and Seattle are proceeding without disruption.
