The proliferation of autonomous artificial intelligence bots in recent years has widened the attack surface for many organizations and made threat detection and remediation much harder. This decentralized environment requires a fresh approach to remain resilient to cyberattacks, said Andres Andreu, COO and CISO at Constella Intelligence.

A vast network of agentic AI bots operate in enterprise environments, and each of these bots is an ingress pathway to the network and to the data stores and has to be factored in to the enterprise’s attack surface, Andreu said.
“Imagine an agentic network consists of external entities but entities inside your network as well that are speaking to each other. What does that do to your attack surface?” said Andreu, adding that cybersecurity leaders need real-time intelligence on their risk profile to adequately secure their networks.
In this video interview with Information Security Media Group at RSAC Conference 2025 Andreu also discussed:
- How Constella is making inroads into the identity risk intelligence space;
- How agentic AI has complicated the enterprise attack surface;
- Why security leaders need a technical and business-centric approach.
Prior to joining Constella Intelligence, Andreu served for more than 20 years as a security leader, delivering business-aligned security solutions and programs covering a variety of industries including U.S. federal and international law enforcement, media, cybersecurity startups, medical and the industrial sector. He is also active in the cybersecurity venture capital community, advising venture capital firms prior to making decisions on potential investments.
