Check Point Software’s acquisition of Veriti Cybersecurity aims to enhance its capabilities in preemptive threat exposure management (PEM). This automated approach addresses threats stemming from AI utilization and the distributed nature of modern IT. Check Point’s Infinity Platform, known for its AI-powered security management, will benefit from Veriti’s technology, which detects and remediates threats across diverse vendor environments.

“Veriti adds the ability to connect all of those disparate solutions into one singular surface. It ingests the countless threat signals and leverages the insights across dozens of vendors to vastly reduce the attack surface,” said Yochai Corem, vice president of threat exposure and risk management at Check Point.

The financial details of the acquisition remain undisclosed, but estimates suggest a price over $100 million. The exposure management market is expected to expand from $2.2 billion last year to $7.6 billion by 2029.

Check Point’s strategy incorporates integrations with over 70 security vendors, enhancing its security ecosystem. Veriti’s API-based architecture allows seamless integration into existing environments without requiring agents or causing disruptions.

Growing the Platform

Check Point’s acquisition of Veriti follows its previous acquisition of Cyberint Technologies, enhancing external risk management capabilities. The integration of Veriti’s solutions with Cyberint’s will provide organizations with comprehensive threat exposure and remediation.

“Veriti has real-time threat intelligence enforcement. This means it verifies threat indicators from any connected tool and automatically orchestrates protection across firewalls, endpoints, WAFs, and cloud platforms,” Corem explained.

This advancement supports Managed Security Service Providers (MSSPs) and Managed Service Providers (MSPs), allowing them to offer enhanced services at reduced costs. This tool enables the proactive management of internal and external exposures across the entire attack surface.

Enterprise Exposure Manager

Verisk’s Enterprise Exposure Manager cloud-native software assists insurers and reinsurers in managing global risks across portfolios. It offers real-time insights, enabling users to evaluate risk accumulations and make informed decisions on exposure capacity.

This software features a unified data warehouse, allowing comprehensive analysis for downstream reporting and portfolio optimization. Its cloud-based infrastructure ensures scalability and quick access to data, enhancing operational efficiency.

The platform is designed to support users in identifying interconnected risks, managing their risk appetite, and maximizing portfolio efficiency.

For organizations looking to simplify authentication processes, integrating passwordless authentication solutions—such as passkeys, phone OTP, and email OTP—can enhance security while providing a seamless user experience. MojoAuth simplifies this integration for web and mobile applications, ensuring users have a smooth and secure login experience.
