InteLogix has turned the security model that protects its own global operations into a managed service for clients. The new LogixGuard MSSP combines AI-powered monitoring, compliance support, and expert-led threat detection in a modular framework that can be tailored to different industries and risk profiles.

From Internal Overhaul to Client-Facing Service

Dan Carbonnell, Vice President and CISO at InteLogix, told MSSP Alert that the concept was born from a full-scale internal rebuild. “One of the key foundational elements of our security roadmap was to understand the key elements of the business, the risks associated, and create the LogixGuard program to secure it,” he explained.

With over 25 years in the BPO industry – half of that in security – Carbonnell has long viewed client security as an extension of InteLogix’s own posture. “Our operations are interconnected, so security has to be embedded into every layer of service delivery.”

That rebuild focused on resiliency, relationships, and trust, and was executed through an eight-month phased plan. The team carried out deep assessments, reduced the external attack surface within five months, and embedded security practices into daily operations.

“Transparent communication was a cornerstone,” Carbonnell notes. “It fostered the trust and alignment needed to embed security into the organizational fabric.” Careful vendor selection was also critical, with NextGen partners chosen for their technology, security posture, AI capabilities, and long-term viability. The success of that internal program led to the decision to offer it externally as LogixGuard MSSP.

Embedding Cybersecurity as a Culture

A central feature of the offering is its CaaC, or Cybersecurity as a Culture, model. “It starts with education, targeted not just at executives and operators, but every department,” Carbonnell says. “Reducing risk starts with recognizing that everyone has a role in cybersecurity.” The approach keeps clients informed about emerging threats like phishing, AI misuse, and deepfakes, and translates security practices into simple, actionable steps.

A portal-based dashboard gives clients visibility into their starting point, risks, and progress. For organizations without mature security teams, LogixGuard provides vCISO services to assess risk, design strategies, and oversee implementation.

While the service is available to existing InteLogix clients, Carbonnell sees strong potential in the SMB market.

“Many SMBs can’t afford dedicated departments or executive security representation,” he says. The MSSP is designed to “smart-source” capabilities so clients can mix and match what they need, from 24/7 monitoring to governance programs. Carbonnell highlights six differentiators: a modular architecture, actionable dashboards, strategic use of AI with human-led decision-making, the CaaC model, OPEX-friendly pricing, and continuous threat detection and response.

“Rather than forcing one-size-fits-all solutions, we tailor security strategies to each client’s unique needs,” he adds.

The approach goes beyond deploying tools – it embeds a security-first culture through the company’s CaaC model, ensuring every part of the organization is aligned on risk awareness and response. Its service pillars cover governance, threat monitoring, identity and human risk management, managed detection and response, and real-time dashboards, all delivered in a modular format so businesses can scale and tailor protections to their needs. In practice, that means companies of any size can tap into the same capabilities that protect InteLogix’s own global operations.

With LogixGuard MSSP, InteLogix is extending the same infrastructure and leadership that secures its own operations to a wider audience, aiming to help clients move from reactive defenses to proactive, sustained protection.
