Kettering Health, a major hospital network in the Miami Valley area, experienced a “cybersecurity incident” that resulted in a system-wide technology outage.The outage, which has reported to be the result of a cyberattack, has limited the network’s ability to access certain patient care systems across the organization. In a statement on their website, the health network said the incident resulted from unauthorized access to their network. “We have taken steps to contain and mitigate this activity and are actively investigating and monitoring the situation.
